Day 7: Breakfast

This morning started with a delightful Nepalese-style breakfast—vegetable curry, two fried eggs, and two crispy pancakes. It was a great way to kick off the day. After breakfast, I managed to finish my blog and catch up on some photo editing.

Bus Station:

I'm pre-planning my trip to the airport on Tuesday, but the language barrier makes it challenging to get accurate answers to my questions. After a 20-25-minute walk to the bus station, I decided to explore other options. A bus ride to the airport costs NPR 40, while the hostel charges NPR 1387 for the same service—quite a difference! I found a bike rider who agreed to take me to the airport on Tuesday at 10 am for NPR 300. Fingers crossed he shows up.

Stunning Views:

On my way back, I stopped at a square with a restaurant on the seventh floor. From there, I enjoyed the best view of the Himalayas I've seen so far. Multiple snow-covered peaks, possibly including Mt. Everest, were visible. Although the restaurant staff nodded affirmatively when I asked if it was Everest, one can only hope.

Plans

I spent the rest of the day taking photos of the local area and markets. Tomorrow, I plan to walk 6.5 km to the Bouda Stupa and then either take a bike ride back or trek both ways.
